What are corrugated rolls?
A corrugated cardboard rolls is essentially just that – rolls of corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard is what your cardboard packing boxes are made from; a strong, and reliable packaging material. A corrugated cardboard roll has an elastic property due to the special soft inner liner which allows it to be rolled instead of formed in sheets or made into boxes.
What is the purpose of corrugated cardboard?
Corrugated cardboard is designed to make a robust packaging material. It’s the basis of every packing box on the market, is found in some cardboard envelopes, and can be used as void fill or as a protective wrap. It's an incredibly versatile material and is very eco-friendly too; fully recyclable, biodegradable, and made from sustainable sources.
How strong is corrugated cardboard?
The strength of your corrugated cardboard depends on the thickness of the board and the flute that you choose. Our corrugated cardboard rolls are all made from 90gsm thick board, and most importantly, are C flute to give better cushioning to your products.
What is C flute?
In terms of boxes, ‘flute’ refers to the corrugated section of the product – in boxes it’s what is between the two liners, and in corrugated paper sense, it’s the exposed wavy and squashy paper used for wrapping the products. C flute is typically 4mm in size to provide better cushioning than B flute for example.
